i noticed those stress cracks too when i had the tank off.
I got some black fingernail polish and did a dozen thin layered coats. it is just vibrational stress from lugging and should not be any real problem. i'll see when i take the tank off to readjust the
carb again if they have recracked...
note on images;
the reason for the size limit is if you upload the image to the R* clinic, the larger the image the more bandwidth consumed. IF your image is hosted elsewhere, and you use the img tag to hotlink to the image somewhere else then there is NO consumed bandwidth from the server hosting the clinic and therfore not a cost object.
in the old puter days most people had a screen res on a 15" monitor of 800 x 600 pixels, so if your image was 1024 x 768 it would overhang the browser window and need to be scrolled to view (or resize which some web browsers will do, like opera). these days with flat panels being more common and 1280 x 1024 for a screen resolution you have more screen real estate to view larger images.
all flat panel LCD screen's have a 'native' resolution and usually will only operate at that particular setting. all are not the same. my 47" vizio 1080p screen is only ~ 42dpi but the tiny ipod screen is a whopping 168dpi. the greater the resolution the finer an image quality, the lower the resolution the further you have to sit away from the screen in order to not see the individual dots.
so what we have is a large audience with a wide variation of viewing resolutions and in order to accomodate everybody's different view an image of 400W x 300H (length x Height) should work universally.
if you need a simple software program to work with your images i will provide it for your enjoyment. some easy things you can do is upload to a facebook or myspace account and 'hotlink' to the image.
like this images on my Fb page, it is not uploaded to the forum but 'hotlinked' to by using a tag. you can tell where on the internet an image actually resides by looking at it's link in the images properties under the right click menu.
if you guys want more information on imaging, i will author an article for you.
