I agree with tsladden, watch out for the boomerang. Put it in a safe IRA or something that will make it grow a little until the tax man gets it straight. Talk to an accountant to make sure you can keep most of it (tax deductions and all). My .02 cents. Darn

Happy for you Curt. You deserve it is right. Darn is right. You need to talk to an accountant before the year end. You might be able to differ some of the money to tax free. If the deposit is still "pending" you might be best to accept after the 1st. Nice to see a good guy get a break bill
