No

CDN (content Delivery Networks) help lower our server usage by keeping copies of certain items (like graphics) on a network of servers maintained by someone else. Typical these networks are distributed throughout different areas of the world as well. By using one, we can put content closer to where you actually are and reduce the number of requests that have to come all the way back to our server.

The one I was playing with there is a free one. But has some problems (depending on how you use it) with some very specific windows DNS configurations (does not apply to 99% of our user base) and with some dsl/cable routers. So wanted to see how it would impact our regular users here.

Thanks Everyone!

I think its a no go. Too many could not see the bags.

Just tried it with FireFox on the same laptop and same internet and can not see them. So Explorer works, but not FireFox, if that helps you at all??
I can try it in a little with another laptop and Explorer 8 on Windows 7 if you want.

Just fine with Windows 7 and Explorer 8 on the same ISP conection. So it's FireFox then that's an issue.

Thanks Don!

From here, I always get the picture displayed, FF IE Opera and Safari. This CDN uses DNAME entries in their DNS responses, and Windows based DNS systems as well as some SOHO routers have a problem with that. Not real sure why you would have the FF problem. Thats a new one.

Everyone else: Apologies for all that gibberish. It really does mean something, but not to 99.9% of the folks out there.
