I don't know if anybody else has used this stuff with good results, but I tried cleaning my wheels with Turtle Wax Foaming wheel cleaner ( labeled as safe for all wheels). Should have said in big letters...except motorcycle spoked wheels. This crap has totally screwed up most of the spokes, and left tiny spots around the rim. Yes...I did follow the directions to a T. Should have stayed with my soft bristle brush and soap. Lesson learned. Don't use this crap on your wheels. Go ahead and spend the extra time with a soft bristle brush and soap.
First (and last) time in 35 years I ever tried wheel cleaner. Bad mistake.
I did the same damn thing too! Get a small Flitz buff-ball and Flitz polishing paste. The buffing-ball fits in your drill-motor and will get in between the spokes. I was able to restore my spokes like new with it!

I'm careful about putting anything on my tire that would make them shiny and slick. I know a guy that put armour all on the sidewalls and got a little carried away and got some on the tread area just a little, When he tried to make the turn at the end of his driveway he went down like he was on ice. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, and the hat! Thank God it was only a Honda 350!

Pledge on the windshield. Damp microfiber cloth followed by dry microfiber cloth on everything else.

I usually use Pledge for normal "after ride" cleaning. I use it on everything Except the leather bags, of course). When I've been in the rain, dust, etc. and it's bad I put about 2 drops of Dawn in a gallon ice cream bucket and fill it with warm water for washing then rinse thoroughly and blow dry with my leaf blower......then I go over the whole thing again with Pledge. I use a microfiber cloth to spread the Pledge and then a clean microfiber cloth to buff it off.

On the whitewalls I put it on the jack and spray Simple Green on the whitewalls, brush them with a soft "vegetable brush" then rinse them. Really makes them clean and doesn't hurt the rims or the tires at all.

Over cleaning? COme on over you can do mine!
I wash mine after every decent length ride. Rarely wax or polish chrome, I just keep it clean and it stays real nice. That and I am trying to not add chrome so I don't have to polish! Its like a boat, if it aint on there it wont corrode.
