LINDBY Highway bar riders 2 Years, 10 Months ago
I noticed one of the Lindbars on noxqsays ride pic and I have been looking at them for some time but haven't found anyone on a R* here in Phoenix riding with them. My question is this:

I am 5'9" with a 31" inseam and before I order them I want to make sure that I would be able to reach the "highway pegs" COMFORTABLY. I am pretty sure I'll be able to reach them I just don't want them to be a stretch for me.

So, who's got em, how tall are ya?, and do they fit you well?

You must be my V-twin brother?

I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam, I have the Lindby Linbar on my 2006 R* Silverado and I too live in Phoenix, Az. I just picked up the Ultimate seat which pushes you forward a little bit so the bars are an easy reach for me on a long stretch of road. With the stock seat, I had no trouble resting my feet on the bars.
I would say you will be fine with bar mounted pegs, especially those with adjustable peg angles.

PS: you can test ride them on AZ route 191, 400 turns in 40 miles!!!

I have the Linby Multibar on my 05. I'm 5'9" and have a 31" inseam and it fits me just fine. I do have a mustang seat and it pushes you forward slightly, but it would still be fine with a stock seat.

I do have them, I also have the pegs that match. I'm 5'11 with 33 inseam. I had no problem with reach, however i do find myself using the pegs more than the actual bar it's self. But it does give you some more wiggle room for when things get uncomfortable. I have the pegs ever so slightly turned in so it's a comfortable resting point. If you get the pegs, put them on very loose to find the correct spot, then tighten them up, trust me, you don't want scratch up the lindby bar!

Same height and inseam. I have the Linby on my 07. Just a tad awkward but only because I have the Pro-R Hypercharger on mine. I have to make just a bit of adjustment to get my right leg to settle in just right. Other than that, I love it for what it is and does. What it does is protect you in the event that you have some fool hit you head on. I experienced that just a few months ago. I came around a corner and at the very moment I straightened up a woman came into my lane as to cut into a corner store parking lot to get to an entrance ramp for the freeway. Seeing that she was going to hit me, I pushed down on the right handle bar and did a very hard lean, when she hit the Linby bar, it put me in the straight up riding position. You'll read the disclaimer about the bar not intended to save your life, but I personally know that it does offer protection.......... no matter what the lawyers told Linby to write on their assembly instructions. as you can see.......

I dislike the normal, IMHO, bars are ugly/boring. These have nice lines are are rather unique.
I'm 6' so no prob.

Put me on the list... I'm moving to the Phoenix area late August and expect to be settled and riding NLT the first week of September.
