I'm still riding It might be a little cold, but if you live up this way, you should be used to it, just dress warmer, wear a full face helmet and maybe an extra layer under or over your pants. Anything that cuts the wind will really help, also the leather is a great bearier for the cold.

Still riding here too...... on the really cold days, I just plug in the electric gloves and jacket.

Only time I don't ride is when the weather turns foul......

I suppose this is somewhat on subject: What kind of Electric gloves do you guys prefer? The local HD shop has them but I'd have to take out another mortgage on the house to get them ....quite pricey (IMHO).

I've got the Gerbing G3 gloves. They come with a wiring harness that you run thru your jacket and that plugs into the bike. ( I've got the jacket, so they just plugs into that ) You'll need a thermostat controller also, so you can vary the amount of heat.

You'll spend around $200 for the gloves and another $50 or so for the controller. Well worth the money IMHO.

I've also got a second set of the Gerbing gloves, and they are much thicker that the G3's. More like snow mobile gloves. They keep your hands warm, but you don't have the dexteriety.

LOVE my Gerbing's...........!!!!!

I bit the bullet here over the weekend and got a good pair of leather chaps. Went riding late Friday night to test it out, and I was amazed at the difference when the wind isn't coming thru my jeans.

Don't know why i didn't do it sooner! Plus, my betterhalf says she relly likes the look...LOL!
