A word of warning about the Sears Craftsman jack. I own one and they do work great, the only drawback was when my bottle jack blew it's seals. Sears does not carry, and cannot order replacement parts. If it is under warranty they will replace the entire jack. Otherwise you have a boat anchor.... but wait the good side is that Harbor Freight sells a jack identical to the craftsman and you can get parts from them to fix your Craftsman jack

Don't be CHEEP! The first time you have your baby balancing 18-20" off the ground and you have to put those stupid tie down straps on her to HOPEFULLY hold her while you remove a tire or something, you will WISH that you had paid a few dollars more for the J&S Jack, but no, then it will be too late and you will be stuck with the CHEEP jack.

I haven't tried it, but noticed that AutoZone has this Duralast universal jack adapter plate which includes a motorcycle adapter & stabilizer foot that appears to attach to any 3 ton automotive jack for $29.99.

Re:Motorcycle Jacks 2 Years, 6 Months ago
I have the red Sears jack and for the most part I am happy with it. To get both of my vehicles in the garage I have to use my jack to store my bike. Being on the jack I can get it right up against the wall and out of the way. The only complaint I have is that it does not roll very well when the bike is on it and the saftey catches, a must if storing it because the jack will leak off, require some extra care to make sure they properly engage the stops on the jack frame. Initially I purchased this jack for oil changes, cleaning, etc but now that I use it to store the bike on, I wish I had went with a little nicer/sturdier jack. For occasional use, the Sears jack is fine and not too expensive.

If it's sears/craftsman, it's lifetime warranty. If that thing broke, get a new one. I've had countless things break from sockets to drills to screwdrivers. They've always replaced them no questions asked. Dropped my drill, took it in, they replaced it with one from a box and sent the box back and i went on my way. I would imagine their jacks would be the same situation.

I have a Harbor Freight yellow jack. No problems & pretty stable, although if I had the cash I would certainly have the J&S.

I don't know if that would go low enough, especially if you have lowered the bike any.
