Poor man's BAK is obtained by drilling several holes in the backing plate of your stock air filter assm. Maybe half a dozen 3/4 inch holes, being sure not to drill the holes inside of the filter covered area. This opens up a greater area for the dirty air to enter the filter area then the restrictive hole that Yama designed. To go one better, you can get a replacement K&N style filter element to replace the paper one that is stock. If you go with the Poor Man's BAK, you'll need to rejet to get it running correctly again.
