#235739 Apache Dave (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 10 bike cuts out at idle 2 Years, 6 Months ago   i have a 2006 silverado and when i am at idle and crack into it it stalls and sometimes actually quits running. it will also do this sometimes when i come to a stop light and pull in the clutch. if i run the choke out a quarter it will not do this. i have been told that i might have a dirty jet. any suggestions   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access. #235740 thomasp99 (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 96 Re:bike cuts out at idle 2 Years, 6 Months ago   Very possible - have you tried the easy stuff like fuel treatment? Idle set too low? Does it do it when cold or after fully warmed? The stock carb does not like a real fast blip of the throttle either, especially cold. There are gas treatments and carb cleaners, but there is only one SeaFoam. Did this issue just start? Did you do some work on the bike then it started this issue? Is idle set correctly?
