If you cut slots on the heads already, then put your screwdriver in the slot and rap the top of the driver with a hammer while turning. This is like a manual impact driver works every time.

I bought the universal "square tubing w/ canvas strap" oil filter wrench it fits all oil filters the first time. Puralator 1 oil filter. And go to Ace Hardware and get stainless metric allen screws for the float bowl cover.

I don't know if you got it apart yet, but the screws may have some thread lock on them. (You never know.)

Give them a little heat then try to loosen them.

MAKE SURE THERE IS NO GAS IN THE CARB BOWL FIRST!!

yep, i grabbed them hard with a pair of needle nose and twisted until i heard "crack" and then they came right out. I didnt see any loctite on the threads though, its like they were glued at the head. got the new bolts and put them in the front spots. I couldnt get the rear done because i couldnt reach them, but i am getting some help from a Tab's co-workers husband who is a mechanic and HD guy. He's going to jet the bike/clean the carb and show me whats up once we get the new pipes and air box in the mail. He just wants to do it all at once since we have the parts on order.

Thanks for the ideas guys, this forum is great!
