#230127 Raider (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 73 Seafoam question 2 Years, 7 Months ago   I have an 05 silverado and in the interest of preventative maintenance I have been reading about SVS and seafoam. I see that some guys are adding some seafoam in every tank. How much are you guys running in each tank, and why are you not having to change the oil if you do have to with the SVS treatment? Put 5-6 oz. of seafoam in a tank or use the SVP, What exactly do you do with it? (not familiar with SVP). Can I just use a little spray bottle of regular Sea Foam and get the same results? I use 4 oz to a full tank. For those that have SVS you can download the cure that works from my site. The link is to the top left of my sig picture. For preventative measures and plain ol' kindness to my motor, I use 1-2 ounces of MMO in every tank of gas. When I got the bike in 2006, it had a BAD case of SVS. After properly jetting it and using the above procedures, it hasn't come back. My 2 cents...
