I too , found Baron's products (I ran their Manifold , BAK , and torque cone do-dad) to be high quality. I did use the fatter o-rings to seal it with , but did the same with the stocker (all the ported manifold from baron's is anyway...). #'s don't lie , with an ignition box , I was at 74hp , 94 fpt.

As for having issue with Baron's , I talked with Scott several times , and always found that crew to be more than helpful. Have you tried working out your differences with them? BB

Got it. I'll never take issue with his Eminence again.

Hey to all who were able to get past this horrible assault on the beloved and give me some good advice and/or products to consider, i thank you.

I'm off to greener pastures.

Reread the last sentence in your first post. If you can't listen to both sides , don't ask for both sides. BB

I'm diggin my Thunder Mfg. S&S-style teardrop air kit. It uses a K&N lifetime filter, and provides all the airflow needed. Unfortunately Thunder Mfg. stopped producing these because S&S Inc. was giving them a hard time regarding design/copyright; now it's extrememly hard to find one for sale.

Bear: I'm totally fine with differing opinions. most seemed to get so crazy defensive and claim I am "bashing a vendor" just because I'm expressing alittle frustration. I was asking for alternative experiences and citing why I was curious. If anyone needs to re-read the orginal post its everyone who piled on. I even tried to smooth it by offering further explanation but that didn't work either. May I didn't use enough smiley faces that are so popular here. Additionaly I freely admit that it may very well be the fool and not the tool but that wasn't the subject of the post. I was looking for alternatives.

But hey I'm not worried about it. From now on I'm going to run NO air cleaner. And while I'm at it I'm going to run open headers and NO seat. I may even run NO pants for good measure.

Now that's funny. we need more funny in here while fixing problems. To be honest with you , I wasn't defending Baron's product , as much as I was trying to show you that their stuff works. Other peoples stuff works too , so it's all subjective. Really a matter of personal taste. BB
