New Job 2 Years, 6 Months ago
I just wanted to share with you guys this good news. I'm flying to Seattle tomarrow to start a new job. I'm a journeyman painter, but have had to settle for a job here in Denver that was pretty much min. wage. While I was happy just to be employed, it's tough keeping food on the table. My brother in-law is a contractor in Seattle and has enough work to bring me on, so I'm going to stay w/ him and my sister for a month and try it out. If everything goes well, My girlfriend and I will move up there early next spring. I am very excited about this and very graterful of my Brother in-law for giving me the oppertunity. If this works out, We'll be doing much better financially and that can mean only good things for my scoot!!! Wish me luck.

Good luck to you, Trum...hope it all works out! I'm flying into Seattle tomorrow as well, but for a job interview. If I get it, we'll have to go riding once we get our scoots out there...and the rain warms up (that's what summer is there )

Sounds good Roadkill! And good luck to you too. I hope we both end up living there, it is a really beautiful city and thier local economy seems fairly stable as long as Boeing keeps building planes. Let us know how the interview goes.

The rain does warm up in the summer, and sometimes it even stops for a while. You will be getting a good taste of typical weather the next couple of days. Showers, high temp in the mid 40's, low temp in the low 40's. Good luck to both of you.

Congrats, Trum. Hope it works out for you. And good luck, Roadkill. Life sure is a lot better when you don't have to worry about employment. Best to both of you.
