I used one on a smaller bike, didn't like it. You can't see the bike at all, you have to find a way to wire signals and brake lights, because it's technically considered a trailer, at least in PA. I picked up a 4x8' trailer for $350 and it's worked wonderfully for me. This time of year is buyers market for all things bike. Anywhere you tow a bike, you're putting that many miles on the back tire. You bottom out, the trailer hitch doesn't take the abuse, the bike does. And I drive an oversized truck so I couldn't see it out my back window, or any of my side mirrors.

I would agree with nasomi. Tires are too expensive, and what if you have to back up? Much safer putting the bike on a trailer, and less wear and tear on your bike.

I think an issue here is having a place to store a trailer. I do agree a trailer is a much better way to go, plus you can use it to haul all that crap outa the garage to make room for it!

Speed sensor is installed in the transmision and reads
out put shaft speed. That is why tire, rim, or drive belt
sprocket sizes will change spedometer accuracy.

I guess the question is will it work with the key off?

I looked over the website and I don't see a weight limit rating on the hitch. I would question what the max weight limit is???
