Cheap Winter Project. 2 Years, 6 Months ago

My Nephew traded for a used 2000 Roadstar a couple months back. He has since been laid off from work and is needing to sell.
When he traded a seadoo for it I had to ride it home for him, about 50 miles to his house.
The bike needs some work, nothing mechanical just cosmedic.
Everything worked lights engine ran strong and tranny changed well. The Trany recall has been done.
It has 62,000 miles and is painted a dull black, not professionally, pretty bad job. It has several places of rust. It has no saddle bags or windshield.
I am trying to be as honest as I can about the bike. I think this bike would be a good rebuild or someone to customize.
He is only asking $2500 firm, and well worth that in parts.
I will try to get some pictures in a few days and post.
I just wanted to let anyone know that may be looking for a winter project.

If I had a garage and time to work on it I would buy it in a heart beat..
I will be visiting my nephew Tuesday or Wednesday this week. If I get there before dark I will take some pictures and post them.

I have 2 pictures of the bike, Link below. It will be the last 2 pictures on the page. The first is the bike I now own, 2003 Venture. The second is my old 2003 Roadstar.
I need to correct the mileage it only has a little over 42,000 mile on it.
