Trouble bolting on Rinehart exhaust 2 Years, 2 Months ago

I'm having trouble installing a set of used Rinehart pipes that I bought on ebay and I am beginning to think that I may have been given the wrong mounting bracket.

With the exception of the bracket the pipes seem to fit my bike. I have a 2006 R* and the pipes came off of a 2005 R* so the fitment should not be an issue. Rinehart no longer makes this particular model.

If the pipes are correct as advertised and if the bracket is correct, I can not get the mounting bracket to align with the pipes. The mounting bracket can attach to the frame in several different positions (I'm sure that only one of them would be correct) but none of them will come close to the corresponding mounting location on the pipes. I am used to making things fit even when they are not supposed to, but I an at a loss here! Anybody recognize this model of pipe and can verify if the bracket is correct?
