I love my COLTS! If they punted do you think Peyton would not have gotten it done? He is clutch. Playoffs a couple years ago against them, when they went to the superbowl. Great come back. Down 21pts against Tampa Bay with 3 minutes left, came through again. Peyton is one of the best QBs in my opinion. I know somebody will dog me for my opinion, but hey its all good, everybody has their opinion.

I am with Cappdog on this one.

I am a die hard Pats fan. People call this a mistake. All it was, was a risky, gutsy call that took the last 2 minutes out of the game.

No doubt would Peyton have marched down the field with 2 mins and time outs on his side and win the game with seconds left.

Bill knew that, Brady knew that and everyone but the Pats D knew that.

Pats D played great, but they are young, and they were tired. Colts came alive in the 4th. You know what playing with fire gets you.

I respect the call, but I do fear what the D thinks about it. Adalius Thomas did not like it one bit, but he was on his way out anyway, he does not fit the mold they thought they had when they signed him. So that was not a suprise to hear him speak out.

But have to hand it to the Colts, they kept their cool, did what they needed to do, just score anytime you have the ball and forget the score.

I am a little concerned how conservative the Pats played on that FG drive. AFter the big first down play, it was like they wanted to run clock off with 6 mins to go.

If they made it, you would have heard the arguments to back the call, Tom Brady, as of recently top Offense in the league, D is yound and tired, gutsy but good call. Instead we saw it fail and off course everyone will jump on board saying you should have punted. But in reality, a punt was the same as walking off the field.

Like I said I am not a Colts fan, but that is definitely a true statement. He is definitely top 5 all time IMO. Talk about keeping your cool! It was as if he already knew 100% without a doubt he was going to score. What a beast!

Colts fan here too..But I think if I was Belichick I would have done the same thing. He knew punting it away was just gonna mean it would take Manning a little longer to get it back down into Pats territory, And probably go into the endzone anyway. He took a chance that didnt pay off. Thats what makes the game so great. COLTS 9-0 !
