I was thinking (thats usually trouble) Just use the the fuel pump wire. It already has a relay(fuel pump relay), it's fused and its big enough gauge wire to power radio and voltmeter. Just tag on enough wire to reach to under the fairing, the rest of the work was done at the factory. They must have wanted us to go pumpless and install fairings.

DaveJ..... your bike gave me some great ideas. I'll probably tie into the fuel pump lead... 9removed the pump a few years ago) and use that to run the radio and power the Volt Meter and the Oil Temp gauges. Due to my limited knowledge of computers can't figure out how to add an image to my posts.

Please do that for me Dave. Much appreciated. I've talked to Gram on doing a write up on how I did the install. Emphasizing on the harley bracket modification. The complete fairing finish should be done by my birthday on the 26th... my present to the bike.
