No TROB it's up higher and the filter is as clean as the day I put it on

I haven`t had any problems with it. You could also reroute the hose to just dump onto the ground, but then you run the risk of getting oil on your rear tire.

I've got the same filter on mine only in blue. Works great. I made a bracket that bolted to the bottom bolt in my air box.

i think i'll try to get it mounted higher than where the hose connects to the engine. Possibly towards the rear and off to the side so it misses the rear tire.

ill fiddle with it and post pics when it is mounted.

originally had the Emgo filter attached under the rec/reg to one of the unused AIS mounts, eventually the mount broke, so dealer wrench mentioned this mod since he had done a few roadies this way, works for me, change filter about every 10k miles.
