If my math is right, at 5000RPM in 5th gear on a totally stock 1600, you should be going right around 220MPH

Because Roadstars are just that awesome. But really, I'm pretty sure my math is off.

I've hit the limit too many times, I don't know what goes on in 5th, it gets to 115 and sorta like pans out, not really revving high but Something keeps it from going much faster, It progressively slows pickup the higher the speed in 5th gear. (Like 105 to 120) The longer you stay with it, the more it climbs but it's like ok, how long can my luck run here with the COPS, Odd though, it seems like it can cruise at that speed all day. So maybe there is a speed limiter. Not that into going that fast or i would unplug the speed sensor and try it again, Maybe someone in a state with no speed limit can try that.

I am positive I can get 60 in 2nd before it hits the rev limiter (Stock) So yea, I think it has a lot more but it's limited somehow. Electronics can do a lot.

I'd like to find out, just to say I knew, but I don't think I have the room on my license for the points I'd reap if John Law was hiding down the road with a laser speed gun....

This beast cruises all day at 80+, I made a run to Desert Hot Sprimgs this past weekend for a burger and coke and on the way back running at 80 just twisted the throttle cruising down the 91 and she pulled up to 103 mph in about a 1/2 mile, just lovin the cruisin speed this thing can do.
