Oil Pressure gauge - Mr. Tidy's Tips? Help! 2 Years, 6 Months ago
Hi everyone, I've decided to go with an oil pressure gauge as outlined in the Tech Articles by Mr. Tidy. I'm a bit stuck in that the shopping list calls for a 10 mm banjo fitting, but the bolt is an 8 mm. I don't get it? Is it OK to run an 8mm banjo bolt into a 10 mm banjo fitting? Won't it shift or leak? Or does anybody know where to get an 8mm banjo fitting? Thanks.

Well, that's a big piece on information! Thanks much. So just for clarity the 10mm banjo fitting doesn't have any clearance issues with the oil pan?

Not at all the reason we have to use a 10mm is because you can't find a 8mm. the 10mm works fine I have never had a leak

WOW that good pressure I think I will be adding that as soon as I find out about my money. In this Texas heat I need to watch my pressure a lot.

No matter of fact I got a letter in the mail a couple of days ago and the said they had reviewed my account and that they had not takem my 2008 wages into account so they were going to be send me another $1612 on Dec 23rd. Yep that is going into my saving account too. I am going to the SS office the day after Thanksgiving and I am not leaving until I know for sure if I can keep it or not. Obamas government at work already.
