Jet Kit Differences???? 2 Years, 6 Months ago
Ok, there seems to be more than a few jet kit options for our bikes. Just wondering what some of the differences may be before I get one in the not so distant future! Thanks!

Any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: I SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES NAVY. John F. Kennedy Aug. 1963

That chart has become a part of my repair/mod bible. Along with the metric/sae bolt chart, tire chart, frame/handlebar post, ...

I'm running the DJ kit, and at our elevation & the need to lean it waaay out, the 175 main, stock 35 pilot, clip on 3rd from blunt end of needle and 2.5 turns out on PMS. I could really even go to the DJ 170, but rarely ride in the zone that uses that circuit (main jet) much, so I'm not wasting THAT much fuel...

Both the DJ and the Mikuni/Maxair/Barons kits can be tuned just fine...
