Firefox1

I've also had SVS problems and recently took off the heads to replace them with worked heads and HC pistons.

When I get a chance, I will take pics of the valve stems to show how SVS can affect the performance along with carbon build-up on the heads and pistons and post them.

Are there any general maintenance steps one can regularly take to prevent SVS?

Curt
Thanks for the SVS stuff on your site. It's going to take me a while to get all of the carb stuff understood before I start anything.
But I've got the winter to sort it out. Got to find some Sea Foam.

FIREFOX1 glad you jumped in

You can usually find seafoam at wal-mart or auto-zone.
