I bought my first bike and it's a 2000 Road Star 1600 (its purple so I call her "Big Purps". I've been renting Harleys a few weekends a year and finally convinced my wife that I'd be safer with my own bike and getting more experience! I put on about 3400 miles this past summer! Not bad for a rookie. The bike has been great and I just did the stage 1 exhaust modification. It sounds so much better than the V-Twin sewing machine that comes out of the factory! I'm near Madison so feel free to say hi and if you're in the same area maybe we can hook up for a ride.
