Welcome Ken , good to have you. It was 25 on Saturday night while I was out riding , got down to 18. That's pretty cold for the 'burbs of Atlanta. I think it's just cold everywhere right now. Darn global warming. BB

I have an 07 with almost 9K on her, however, I bought it NEW at the end of 08, stored it for the winter and put 9K on her from riding when I could this last summer. I only live 4 miles from work, so 8 miles per day = 9K in one summer?? I took the long way home a couple of times Once was Lake of the Ozarks in MO.

BTW, never argue with PapaTom, he is always right, the 07 IS the fastest and BEST bike

Grew up just North of your location in Jacksonville Beach. I rode in Florida (the Sunshine state) for 14 years and I don't think a week went by that I didn't get rained on at some point. Always fun to come back to a locked helmet full of water. I moved to Phoenix back in 1994 and I may have ridden in the rain 4 times since then and I ride every day out here. Hope it clears up for ya out there.

I understand you guyses misery with cold.I was born in Boston, lived in Maine for a few years and spent my junior yr of high school in Wisconson. All those places are why I'm in Florida now.The norm is supposed to be 70's during the day and 50's at night, but obviously someone lied.I know ALL about that summertime rain here, been caught more than once in it.Thank God for Frogtoggs.I really appreciate all your well wishes and welcomes.I'm an M/C tech by trade, so if I can be of help to anyone please don't hesitate to ask.

P.S. I did some research on the bigger needle/float valve assy for those who want to run pumpless, and I think I can get them for ALOT cheaper than the $95.00 I saw someone paying through the dealers out there.PM me for more info. Thanks, and be safe out there. Ken
