A worm cold ride 2 Years, 4 Months ago
Boy I had a fun Bike ride, almost 130mi on back roads in OKLA at 52deg and cloudy. But id something not normal for me! where i would do 60-65 i was doing 80-85 and man was it fun. Maybe because the young man that called me up for the ride had a KZ? something hump-up bike and I didn't wont him to get to close

Looks like several of us got in the wind today. Temps in the high 50's in Carolina today, went to pick the wife up after work on the scoot, then a trip out the back roads. The big boy was runnin' strong in that cool air. Once I got off the main road, I don't think I got below 70 or so. Runnin' good, handlin' good, fresh air, sunshine...doesn't get any better than that.

We were also out wednesday afternoon. It was a little cold (mid 40's here in upstate SC), but I couldn't stand it. Got to ride this afternoon, too. Today was nice, 60 and not much wind at all. Alligirl's off for MLK day monday and wants to solo, weather looks good for then too, so I'll get on the Roadie and follow her around for moral support.

I was hankerin' to ride for a while and temps were at about 30 this morning. Took her to work....refreshing!

Thought she wouldn't start after being laid up for a month or so due to cold temps and rain/snow. But after a little coaxing, she woke up.

Me too. It has been about 3 weeks since I had the scoot out. It was a bit over 50 degrees and I saw that my neighbor had taken the cover off his HD as I was coming home from a doctor's appointment. So I leathered up and got fired up before he could get out of the driveway. I did notice that it was hard to keep below 70 'cause it felt so dang good to be on my bike. You all know what I mean.

Definitely going out today. It's a good 10 degrees warmer with sunshine today than yesterday when I was out. Hell, it might even hit 45!!!
