New to RSC 2 Years, 4 Months ago
Hi from North Carolina everyone. I was a longtime Honda rider and just bought an 08 Roadstar S fuelie, what a difference!!! I love every second riding it. I've checked in on several topics on the tech pages, especially the exhaust section, and found everything very helpful, this is a great site and hope I can contribute to it also. I posted a few ?'s in the tech section but I'll post them here too...

I was thinking of running an exhaust that goes to an 07 R* but obviously they don't have O2 sensor ports in them. One of the guys said he lengthened the sensor wires to make them reach to aftermarket exhausts and I was wondering if anyone had a good way to do this or could explain how?

Also, saw a post from one of the members that said he used a Power Commander (or similar) product and was wondering if the unit eliminates the O2 sensors?

Thanks in advance and hope to hear from everyone soon. If anyone's in the Winston-Salem, NC area make sure to hit me up.

Jeff

Hey Jeff! Glad to have you here! I bought my bike at Forsyth Motorsports over on University Parkway & live right down the road in Burlington. If you're coming this way, PM me & I'll buy you a cup of coffee. Btw, any competent muffler shop can weld a set of bungs in those pipes for the O2 sensors.

That's where I bought mine, small world. The wife and I try to make it to a few Hooters Bike nights in G/boro during the summer, maybe we can get a little meet up together when it gets closer.
