Another New Guy 2 Years, 4 Months ago  
Another new guy here. Just picked up my first bike, an '03 R*. Previous owner put a few extras on it, Vance and Hines Long shots (bloody loud) Kuryakyn Hypercharger, a few others. 17K miles.
Been searching through the forums...TONS of great info...but do have a few questions.
Anything you guys wish to reccomend I check or service ASAP?

Thanks! By the way, absolutely awesome paint on your bike, clean and classy.
That's what I'm kicking around right now, stripping the tins and changing paint before riding season...is it always this hard to decide on a color???

By the way...I'll be putting some stuff up in the calssifieds...stripping a few things off I don't really want...sissy bar with luggage rack, drivers back rest, those larger passenger foot pads, pics to follow in the classifieds

from North Carolina! I highly recommend you check to see if the trans recall is done... there is a lot of info here about how you can find out and what you can or need to do during the recall. Other than that, keep the shiney side up....
