Wow, that's low miles for an 03. You said this is your first bike, but it sounds like you've been around bikes for a while? Or is this your first Roadstar? Anyhow.. welcome!
First bike ever. Just using some of the lingo I picked up from cruising the site And I am very pleased I decided on a R*

quick question regarding jetting. Being that my 1600 has the Hypercharger on it, and I am at 2200 ft elevation, what would be a good jet size?

If you have the stock intake and not ported, then you are probly looking at a 172.5... that is what I had in mine when I had the HyperCharger... I am at about the same elevation too...

I bought a used '03 back in '07 and the previous owner also had the V&H long shots installed. He must have removed the baffles at some point because they didn't come with when I purchased. I just ordered a set from V&H, slid them in and the bike is running better than ever, it's quieter but still has the same V*H grumble and I don';t set off every car alarm as I go by anymore. No more popping/gurgling on decel or shifting either.
