It will take paint off also, so be careful, might be a good way to get clearcoat off of aluminum so you can polish it...?

I love that idea! I've been avoiding it because of all the time involved with the stripping. This could work.

If you or anyone else tries this, you gotta start a thread and let us know how it works out!

Thanks for the post BigBoy.

I have some rust on my floorboard brackets and exhaust manifold flanges and would like to try this on them.

I imagine if you want to remove the paint from the jugs or heads you could use this method????

I will be buying stock in Arm & Hammer soon!
