harley rear pulley with roadstar front pulley 2 Years, 3 Months ago
Hi guys,
because of my little project of rebuilding my bike i want to put a harley rear wheel with pulley and a harley belt on the bike.
Because it's going to be a 300 tire i want to make my own roadstar pulley offset. But my question: will i get any problems if i use a harley belt on a roadstar front pulley??
Hopefully these will fit without any problems.
I hope to hear from anybody that can help me with a answer.

Greetss

I've got a question too along these same lines, will a harley rear pulley mount to a roadstar rim? I've heard that it will but would like to know for sure.

Thanks,
Richard

from what i read, you just need to open the holes a little bit. i would confirm that with someone who has done that. im using a hd wheel so it was all bolt and go sorta.

Yes you can put a softail pulley on a R* rim. The holes are a very close match and there are no problems running one.

you go from 1-2 options to like 100000000 when going to harley - roadstar aftermarket is nothing like harley.

i guess this is a reply to my question, so i will try to answer.

i did not say that i am building a harley or that i want a harley.
What i did say is that i am rebuilding my bike into a custom bike.
Fot my project i have chosen for a 300 tire and i need a new wheel to go with this tire.
Now i can buy a new roadstar wheel but this is not easy to find(not one that i like)
If you take a good look on ebay you can find several wheels for a harley, most of these are better looking than the one's that you can find for a roadstar(that is what i think)
Next to that the price's of the harley wheels are lower than the price of a roadstar wheel(quantity).

very simple right???

I don't get why some care what others do their rides if it isn't a dangerous change. If you like what you ride and the other guy likes what he rides, who does it hurt? I enjoy the concept of personlizing/customizing your ride. It is an expression of you and what you like. To each his own I guess...

Well put ronnie. We have discussed this at length in other threads.

I also have a lot of HD parts on my bike and it has everything to do with availability and price.
