i am looking for an old junk tank off of anything. just need something to play with over the summer got a few ideas for a custom paint job. any body know were to find one cheap?

lots of cheap tanks around but damn few that fit a Roadie without modification. 
The backbone/motor mount and ignition play hell with mounting a tank. I'd look on Ebay but be ready to do a lot of work on it if you want it to fit your bike. |

I have one 20.00 plus shipping its pretty dented up but still holds gas i got it on my 04 midnight

You can check ebay, craigslist or Crashed Toys.
You can also use CraigLook as a lookup tool.
There are a few *junk* dealers like crashed toys who take damaged or repossessed bikes and break them up for parts. |

This tank is just gonna be a test I have am idea on paint and am wanting to try it before I break apart the bike it is an old idea so it should work but I have never done it. Anybody ever seen a "smoked" bike?
