The only thing I didn't like about it is that it is more along the line of like windbreaker type material if you know what I am talking about. After sitting on the bike I realized my legs don't really get close enough to the exhaust to melt it.
I actually had an Idea of taking like an old piece of leather and sew on the inside of my calfs just to prevent melting but not sure if it would work. I went to walmart and bought a can of silicone. It came from the camping/outdoor section. It is supposed to waterproof all kinds of materials.
As far as the gloves go, they also came from walmart. They are a tad bulky but basically made out of the same material as the suit. Paid $5. The only thing I don't like about them is that the fingers are almost to bulky to adjust anything on the stereo. You just put your finger in the vacinity of the button and hope you dont "mash" the wrong one.
I do have a set of soft lowers on the way also, so that should also add to warmth, but now I am wondering if I should have just saved that money. Here is a link to the site that I bought the suit from.

The suits are pretty much true to size. I am 5'11" 238lbs and went with the x-large and it fits well. I am really happy because in the past, when going to work, I have had to bundle up for the ride to work. Get to work undress, and redress into my fire department uniform. I feel confident that in the morning I can leave home in my uniform and just slip the suit over it and only have to remove the suit when I get to work. It would definitely save me a lot of trouble.
While I was out riding tonight, especially while stopped at a light, I was getting so many looks. It's was one of two reasons. 1) The ladies were thinking, look at that sexy hunk of a man right there, or 2) They were thinking, look at that freaking idiot on that motorcycle. I am leaning more toward number 2 though.
