As I sit at work, I hear the sound, you know... bikes! Here you all thought I was nuts, or a Yeti, and I look out the window and two bikes go by about a minute apart, the second one was a girl on a soft tail, leathered up, no helmet and smiling from ear to ear!

So there you have it, I'm not alone there are other bikers out riding in FEBRUARY in WISCONSIN!

Yep. You're right. I just saw an HD go by on my way home. Face mask, but no helmet.

I used to ride this time of year if it got up to 30. sometimes less. but two years ago I got into some salt on the roads and didn't get it washed off well enough and it messed up my wheels. ate the clear coat right off them. So I now I wait until after the spring rains have cleaned off the roads. I hate it.. but its less costly.

I'm one block off the main drag in Napa. Nothing I hate worse than to be at the house mowing or working on my bike and hear a bunch of bikes headed north towards the vineyards! Wait for me.......

Uh, salt comes out of a shaker guys you don't have to find it along the road.

I know we all love riding our bikes for many different reasons; the joy it brings us at times is imeasureable. Simply put I enjoy riding my bike. So... how does one actually enjoy riding when it's 30 degrees or less? Riding at those temps. just does not seem fun. I can understand not being able to wait for spring, and 50-60 degrees is doable for a short spell; but if it's no fun or too uncomfortable I just assume wait. I'm not being mean here just curious. In it's simplest form below freezing and motorcycles just don't go together.

I would rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle
