That was what I found with the Kickstands. The MFG has some awesome ones for the HD because the are Standard, and HD keeps the same setup on each model from year to year. For the Metrics, they just had a kickstand "Cover" And it said right on their website that the reason was because the metrics don't have a standard one.
Hopefully Yamaha will get it right, and keep some basic parts standard. Good call Doc.

Im gonna digress from this thread a little....
this is something i would love to see happen in the states
yamaha should open a factory here in the states !!!!

you are so right. Out source it so a guy in another country can live a good life at the cost of ours? Kind of wacky BUT if any of your 401k holdings are in companies that do this then it's our fault too. 
I just thought about Victory, any body know how they are doing? I keep getting e-mails about lower prices. |
