Roadies:

Does anyone have a link to a site where I can find out more about the Nemesis coils?

Thanks.

Here's more info ....

"They are made by the same manufacture that makes the Dyna's but they are black in color instead of gray and * most importantly they have the right OHM's*....... 1.5 Ohms like our bikes are supposed to have. Finally high performance coils made just for our bikes and you guys and gals are the first to be able to get them. They run $129.99 plus $10 shipping in the lower 48 states. If you would like a set all you have to do is PayPal the funds to Dknmont55@aol.com with "Nemesis Coils" in the subject line.

The ign wires are now in stock, they run $50 a set but if you buy both the coils and the wires the special Looney forum combo price is $40 plus the coils."

Thanks, Doc.

The info you provided was helpful. I wanted to get a handle on cost and whether the ignition wires were included.

I had read a thread on RSR that mentioned that the Nemesis coils are closer to what the Road* really needs, in terms of resistance rating.

I'll have to check out DK's site after work; our work network is blocking my access to it.

Thanks.

Go and read this Beefcake, Odo explains it quite well. Even I understood it.

The stock coils are rated at 1.53 ohms. The Dynatek coils are rated a 2.2 ohms and the Nemesis coils are rated at 1.5 ohms. Therefore, the Nemesis coils are preferred because they are closer to the stock spec.

Doc will probably chime in here with the tech side of this, but I believe that the Dynatek coils are slightly over-powered for the Road*.

Help us out, Doc.
