Saw this video a few weeks ago. Lots of work , and really cool design. But it takes the challenge out of off-roading. What's the fun in that? As an avid off-roader myself , I find joy in tackling an obstacle knowing my brain got me through it as much as my machine. That thing is a point and go machine. Sorry for the buzzkill , just my thoughts on it. And you guys are right , if he gets that monster stuck , he's out of luck. BB

Yeah.. or to try and fix it on the trail when something goes wrong. Like many things nowadays (and like BB said) there's technology showing up that makes it easy for an average person to accomplish ridiculous feats. Still a neat rig, would love to see it hit the mud...

Impressive machine but would hate to work on it! Someone put some thought in it and i am sure it is fun but part of offroading is the bumps right?

After looking at the second link I have to say that what that fella is doing is some extremely technical driving, I can say with certainty that myself and most others would probably not be able to handle the situations he's putting that thing in. If he were going through a typical crawler course it would be different though. As for mud, that thing must weigh like a dump truck, it would probably sink, lol. Most impressive none the less.

My buddy told me the other day that "The difference between 2WD, 4WD & a modified 4WD is how far you have to walk back out." (this was after about getting stuck in deep snow in my stock Jeep)
I think that vehicle is cool. I love to see someone push the envelope, even if only to see if it will work.
