I tell ya... 2 Years, 2 Months ago
It's a wonder some of these parts suppliers manage to keep their doors open given their total lack of customer service.

Ordered my fairing from Dragonfly on Jan 8th, and was told it would be 3-4 weeks as they were waiting on mounting brackets. Called them again on Feb. 12th since I hadn't received a tracking number yet, and was told they still had to trim it and assemble it. WTF? They had 5 weeks to get the shell ready, but obviously they just sat on their butts waiting for the mounting brackets. It finally arrived today....almost two full months later.

Ordered a Super Trunk III and a few other items from Scootworks on Feb 15th and was told one of the other parts would be 5-7 days to get in. Called today (15 days later) and am told is "should" ship by the end of the week. Mind you, when they told me the one part had to be ordered I specifically requested they send the trunk and backrest separate to ensure I'd have it here when my painter called wanting my tins.

Be easy man, It's just because your from Ohio.

She's got em, she'll be there.

I know what ya mean, I waited 4 months longer for some Auto parts I ordered and paid for. So he had my money 4 months before I had my stuff, and it's legal on a custom order. BTW I am interested in that trunk, how you mount it and how it looks, so hurry up!

Jim Scootworks did the same thing to me it took about 6 weeks to get my trunk, they told me that it has been so slow that they had laid off alot of people and couldnt get there orders down and when I told them I wanted to cancel the order they said I would be getting it in a week and I did

MS...I sure with my UPS person looked like that. LOL

As for my trunk and how it will look, just check out Ultra's photo's as it's the same trunk and I'm using the mount he's making.

Nope , the box she is carrying clearly says "crome" on it.....the common misspell for Chrome. So the box has some sort of bike piece in it , but it doesn't appear to be Mr.F's trunk.

On a more serious note , I agree with you that businesses that already have your $$ would really do themselves a favor by keeping you the customer in the loop when it comes to back ordered items. Customer No-service as Clark Howard calls it. BB

Yea I went cheapo trunk, thinking, I would remove it and re install Ultimate Back and just use trunk for trips. NOT! LOL It's just too cool to have so much lockable storage, So trunk never comes off. Then I had to buy the fairing to match, Now I want one like what your getting. But 1st I need a new Job, or called back to YRC.

Your going to love that Trunk, when you get it. Bagger's are the thing now. It's going to look great! I need to get a new mount, like Ultra's. I have mine fit to org rack.

It's a MUTAZU It's pretty nice for the price and most normal riders, but I ride a lot more than that and travel a lot. Mostly I wish it had speaker accommodations. After you buy it you have to trim it up with some lip trim, some chrome, and a new latch. The one that comes with it is painfully cheap. I have about $300 into it to where it is fine, but..... no speakers. And when I called em on the latch just months after I bought the trunk it broke, they said $29.95 + Shipping! I found another, more sturdy latch by Southco and installed that.
