there are lot's of guys who run hitches, there are all kinds available, depending on your budget. I am planning on getting one very soon, but the type or style you get is sort of a personal thing. I'll show you mine at the Meet & Greet in Ohio May 14th.
What sort of trailer? Even more choices there!

Interesting, I was just out in the garage looking at my factoty saddle bag mounts tonight and figuring out how to fabricate/integrate a hitch setup to them. I have seen several R* hitch setups but haven't seen any stealth/hidden setups. All I want exposed it just the Hitch ball. all brackets etc should be concealed for a clean look. I will try and someday come up with somthing that will be mostly hidden and structually sound. I know it can be done. Then I want to construct my own trailer. I have seen many examples but the price's are way too over the top for me. I am a fabricator and prefer to see what I can come up with.

Roadstarnewbie, actually there is a system like that. its called a Dauntless Hitch. The system bolts inside your rear fender. I used to have one, but found out that I needed to replace it because I lowered my bike, and had to replace my rear tire with a thinner one... I just took it off and bought one that bolted on the outside of the rear fender... a Hitch Doc is the best bet for me...
