I'm with chromepony.............your starter relay is nfg......check out yamaha sports plaza for a new one...good prices

the click you hear is the decompression switch under the cover just behind the yamaha. charge the battery, check to see if it goes in and out all the way, it won't turn over if thats not working,

Like redeye said, is a good possible..

Get the battery charged back up.. Mine needed the battery up to charge and after it sat I think it has a thermal relay that had kicked out(anyone else have option?) but after I let it charge it started right up never a problem since that one time..

No power to the starter wire coming off of the relay. But the relay has power to 2 wires then when i turn the key on all 4 wire have power, just nothing to the starter wire.

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who assisted me on this issue. It turned out to be the Starter Relay. Plugged in the new one Started right up, Thanks again guys...
