I loved my ultimate, the backrest is definetly the way to go. a friend of mine has the mustang with backrest and I sat on his it felt supported but not sure without taking it on a long ride if I'd like it for me.
hope some of are choices are helping you decide.. good luck,

check out www.meancitycycles.com you can do research and see if they have a mod that you like. I just had mine done and am happy. By the way I consider myself a long distance rider. 600-800 in a day..
