I have the slashdowns and I wouldn't mind a little more bark! I am already half deaf in my left ear no high ranges and not much low. Too many guns and tools and machinary in my youth. I cannot help, but I think they have a fairly simple baffle in them and it should be possible to open it up. Of course the more straight through the more torque you give up. The torgue was just not there like it is with the baffles in it. I pulled the baffles once...and yes , it does make the harley boys run like little girls. However the bike ran like a three legged dog and i was deaf!
