Use some sticky tape, masking or foil works good, mark where it is on each side as pictured below and that gives you exact reference of where it is now. Pictured below. And Makcap wonders why i take all these pictures.



The rear brake caliper kinda slides with the wheel and also helps hold it in alignment, so loosen it first and tighten it last. I have just pivoted the caliper on the mount, but the mount must be loosened.

If you still have one of these, these marks are belt adjustment references. Above.

Watch what order you take the spacers off and where and what way they go, you can put them on and tighten to specified torque and it can still be on wrong. (Wheel will be loose on axle) So take note.
