#263653 Curt (Moderator) Never to old to ride! Moderator Posts: 12515 Well they TOTALED IT! 2 Years, 2 Months ago   The dealer told the adjuster that it is totaled and that it was a custom bike and there was no way they could put a value on it. The adjuster paid the storage fees and gave me a check for the towing right there. I am picking the bike up Saturday. The adjuster said to get all my receipts together and also to figure out how many hours labor I have in it and put a dollar amount the labor and take it all to the total adjuster that will be handling it and they will come up with a value on the bike to be paid. Man I can’t say enough good things about Allstate Insurance. I got the $100 of my $500 deductable so I only pay $400 and I have the accident forgiveness so my rates won’t go up. State Farm was never as nice to me and I am sure I would have been screwed with them. Can you imagine getting paid for ALL the hours you have in that bike. You could go buy 2 new ones! Glad to hear you will be bike shopping again soon! Wow, I never thought of counting Hours, Do we count time making mistakes too? I'll be rich! Hope it works your way and you can get black ice up and running again soon! One is $6200 and the other is $7200 asking prices. CASH talks ya know it did when I bought ICE. I think I will get a new one and buy ICE back both I am really kicking that idea around. That way I will have one to ride and one to build on and all my wonderfull parts to use.
