HTA OReg 596

10(1) No person shall operate upon a highway a motorcycle or motor assisted bicycle equipped with handlebars that are more than 380 millimetres in height above the uppermost portion of the seat provided for the operator when the seat is depressed by the weight of the operator.

AND

HTA OREG 611 (Safety Standards of motorcycles)
Schedule 6 (3)(2)(e)

No part of the handlebar shall exceed a height of 380 millimetres above the uppermost portion of the operator's seat when the seat is depressed by the weight of the operator.

If a vehicle fails any part of a OREG 611 it is not safe....so could be facing a charge of "unsafe vehicle"....HTA 84 (fine $400 - $20000). Then the licence plate can be seized HTA 82(5).

Doc

Now I need to go outside and measure. Pretty sure I'll be 3-4 inches to high.

A while back, someone posted another thread with some very nice looking R's.

http://roadstarclinic.com/component/option,com_fireboard/func,view/Itemid,187/catid,49/id,255353/

I said in that thread, that after adding windshield, pass and driver backrests, I think my bike looks a lot worse than when I bought it. So I decided to do something about it this week, and removed the rear seat, pass floorborads, and the 2 back rests. I am much happier now, I think it looks a lot better.

This will be the last picture of mine before the new paint job. The parts are at the painter right now and I've got some nice chrome parts waiting to be installed also, I'll get pics up soon.
