I came across this, looks to be an easy build and quite handy should be easy to make a steel version for those of us that have welders.

i built a 6' tall 3' wide h press and have a 50ton bottle jack on it i used springs from a fork lift as the return springs i went a bit over kill but it works quite well. I made it from 2x4 c channel.
