#265903 Mr_Shamrock (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 2901 Polished wheels 2 Years, 2 Months ago   I am going to have the wheels on my bike polished (not the spokes in my sig pic - I have the newer mags on now). Does anyone have pics of them polished? Has anyone done any polish/powdercoat combinations? Looks good when done but if youve never done it you may want to seek a pro. If it was something like a brake lever id say go for it but ive done a little polishing and wheels are tricky to make look good. Check out my profile pic. I Powdercoated mine Chrome. The first time you polish them it seems like they never look the same again. Oh well, I guess I am just a pain freak or too cheap to chrome them or maybe both! Has anyone used that polish & sealer that supposedly lasts all year. I seen it at a bike show and they were claiming once a year polishing. I love the way they look and just wipe them down when washing and they look good as new. Our local powdercoating shop charged me 325.00 for both wheels and rear pully.
