I wonder if it's posssible if the seat round the needle in the carb bowl expands too much with heat and with the fuel pump's extra pressure over gravity maybe it's just not seating. Just grasping at straws, I've only had it twice, not once since becomeing super paticular about letting it idle for a half a min before shutting the fuel and bike off. That does not seam to work for all. First time it happened I almost freaked out.

It comes out the overflow tube, i have sat and watched it happen. Most people never know it happened as it evaporates quickly.

I've only had it happen once the last 4 years. After a 2 hour hard ride with the temps in the 90's. Tried closing the valve when i parked, but seems i can't always remember to open it until it starts sputtering.

I have done that more times than I'd like to admit.
