Looking for a tank 2 Years, 2 Months ago
Does anyone have an old tank laying around that they are willing to let go for a good price. The paint condition is not important but no dents please. Also do you know if all years are interchangeable with a 1999.

You can usually find them on ebay without any problem. As far as interchangeability all the carbureted years are interchangeable. The fuel injected tanks are different.

I'll be looking for a tank too I think they are all the same I will check the parts numbers and let you know. I think if the middle numbers on the part numbers are the same they will work. The first like 4mv and 5mv don't really matter.

Define good price please. You can get a new one for $625.00. So would a good price be $400.00? It's all relative. I've got a tank that's clean inside (no rust) and with no dents. So, I'm just curious. PM me if you would like to discuss.

EDIT: I am NOT selling the tank for $400.00. I was just trying to state that to some people, 400 would be a good price considering what the new price is.

There's a few on Ebay right now in pretty decent shape.

Just go to Ebay (Motors section) and type in...

("Road Star", roadstar) tank
