Skydiving 2 Years, 2 Months ago
Anyone here ever done it? I never have but it is on my Bucketlist. I am thinking of going May 1 in Tuskegee. As far as I know it is the closest place to Auburn Alabama. Just wondering if anyone has ever done it and what was your experience like. Come to think of it, maybe it should be the last one on my Bucketlist. If something goes wrong with the jump, I wont be able to do the others. Oh well, guess that's the breaks.

Or it could be the first, so if something goes wrong you won't have to worry about doing the others.....

I've parachuted .... not my cup of tea. I don't like heights to begin with so jumping out of a plane is the last thing I want to do unless I'm forced.

Why anybody would want to bail out of a perfectly good airplane at 20,000 feet is beyond me.

Did it, went tandem, 12500 feet and almost a minute of free fall. Once the chute opened I was bored the fall was great though.

I didn't skydive but I was a paratrooper, to me it was the thrill of jumping. Jumping with 150 lbs of gear on you and at night that is a thrill. You are always scared and cautous but when you quit doing both you get hurt. My 2 cents of life.

Skydiving is on my list of things to do also! Right behind wrestling a live crocodile, picking up a large live rattle snake and stepping in front of a moving freight train! Just kidding, I really don't think I could do it if I wanted to. I would freeze up in the plane. I know it has to be a great rush though.

Man that's something I want to do too. I researched it last year and sent out some inquiries to area jump zones. Have yet to pull the trigger but it is still on my mind. Got the Roadie now need to jump

My ex-wife said she was interested in trying it a few years ago.

I whole-heartedly supported her interests...
